"El Tequiloco" is the debut EP from Cumbia Soul band, Los Xiqueños. The Chicano band is one of Oxnard's premier bands blending Soul with Cumbia, Rock En Español and Romanticas.

The EP features three original songs, "I Played The Fool", "Lucy" and the hit cumbia "El Tequiloco". Each song showcasing the bands vast musical palette.

Fans of Chicano Soul, Psychedelic Cumbia and Rock En Español will not be disappointed.

YAY! Records was based out of Oxnard from 2006 to 2010 before re-launching in 2023 with YAY! 14 Flexi/Fanzine from The Avocados. New releases from Maria, The Crystal Tears and more are in the works for Fall/Winter 2025!
