The debut LP from Oxnard GothSoul band, The Crystal Tears has arrived! The Chicano band blends soul, cumbia, dreampop and darkwave into a dark, gothic experience. 

Featuring heavenly vocals from Naomi Fuentes on the newest Gothic Cumbia hit, "Vampiro", the fan favorite Oxnard Soul "Sueño Azul",  the majestic drempop ballad "Jasmine Flowers". The Crystal Tears bring brooding keyboard, guitar and cello/violin soundscapes and bilingual lyrics to create a unique sound: Gothic Soul.

Fans of Sunny Ozuna, Slowdive, Caifanes, Spanish and Chicano Soul, Darkwave will not be disappointed.

YAY! Records was based out of Oxnard from 2006 to 2010 before re-launching in 2023 with YAY! 14 Flexi/Fanzine from The Avocados. New releases from Maria, The Crystal Tears are in the works for Fall 2025!
