"Solo Yo" 7" flexi disc debut record from Oxnard Gothic Soul Groove band, The Crystal Tears. The Chicano band takes soul groove inspiration for Chicano legend Sunny Ozuna with brooding keyboard, guitar and cello/violin soundscapes and bilingual lyrics to create a unique self coined sound: Gothic Soul Groove. Fans of Slowdive, Spanish and Chicano Soul, Darkwave will not be disappointed.

YAY! Records was based out of Oxnard from 2006 to 2010 before re-launching in 2023 with YAY! 14 Flexi/Fanzine from The Avocados. New releases from Boy/Girl, Maria, The Crystal Tears are in the works for Summer 2024!
